The God Who Opposes the Proud and Gives Grace to the Humble in Genesis 29:1-22

During this worship service, both our New Testament and Old Testament readings demonstrated how God is both Strong and Kind. In our New Testament Reading, we saw how Jesus had the power to heal and the compassion to use His power to heal. In Old Testament reading, our minister, Porter, preached how God is strong enough to oppose the proud (like Jacob) and kind enough to give grace to the humble (like Leah).
