Unpacking God’s Covenant Promises and Our Obligations Part III from Genesis 17

Our pastor led us in our third and final sermon on God’s covenant promises of Grace in Genesis 17, which is a mountain top chapter in the Bible. We considered the relationship of Old Testament circumcision and New Testament baptism as the signs of God’s promises to His covenant people. We will also considered how those signs point us to our union with Christ. Several of the hymns that we sang were on the theme of our union with Christ, such as Jesus, With Thy Church Abide (Indelible Grace version) and Yet Not I, But Through Christ in Me. We also praised God as our Creator by singing Psalm 95, Now With Joyful Exultation. A video of the service is below, and the bulletin is posted here.
