Palm Sunday in Psalm 2

On Palm Sunday we remembered our Savior’s entrance into Jerusalem as a King in several ways. The children processed into the Sanctuary waving palm fronds during the first hymn. That first hymn was All Glory, Laud, and Honor, written by Theodulf of Orleans for Palm Sunday in the year 820. Our pastor preached on Christ as the Lord’s Anointed King who rules the nations in Psalm 2. After coming to the Lord’s Table, we sang, Jerusalem, which in four verses captures what it must have been like to be in Jerusalem during that first Holy Week. You may see the bulletin posted here.
