Our Lord during Darkness and Storms

Our sermon passage is a famous passage when Jesus walks on water in John 6:16-21. When Jesus’ disciples get caught in a storm on the Sea of Galilee, He comes to them, walking on the sea, and He delivers them safely to the shore. In this miracle, the disciples get a flash of how powerful Jesus is. He is Lord over creation and Lord over their storms. In the sermon, we also consider Jesus’ delay in coming to them and us.
