What are Elders & What Do They Do?

On this Sunday we looked at the office of Elder as Christ’s gift to the church (Ephesians 4:8-12) for teaching and shepherding the church. We looked at the character of the elder and how it is proven in the home, church, and community as described in 1 Timothy 3:1-7. Upon the conclusion of this service, we opened nominations for our first class of elders and deacons.
