What Do You Fear? 1 Peter 3:13-17

The Apostle Peter has been teaching his audience of new Christians that the Gospel will transform every aspect of their lives. Some people will see that and be drawn to Christ. But, in this passage, he concedes the possibility of unjust suffering and that some people will persecute them for doing good. So Peter asks them and the Holy Spirit asks us: will we fear God or will we fear men. Peter tells them that faith answers fear by exalting Christ higher so that everything else becomes less important. The bulletin for this service is posted here.
