Supremacy of Christ over His Church Part 2: New Gospel Formed Communities

In the last passage of Colossians, Paul closes his letter with personal messages to people in the churches that would be receiving the letter. Through Paul’s messages, God gives us a peek into the first churches in the world—these new communities that the Gospel was forming. We see people with deep commitments, we see communities that receive and redeem people who might have thought they were failures, and we see new communities forming NOT based on common interests and affinities but formed by the Gospel that transcends class, race, and national identity.
