“Seeking Security in our Possessions or God?” The Parable of the Rich Fool in the Gospel of Luke 12:13–21

We look at the parable about the man who built bigger barns to save up more grain so that he could rest, eat, drink, and be merry. We will talk about how are hearts are prone to pursue the same vision of the good life rather than finding the good life that Christ has already made available—a good life that will not end with our death, but continue into the new creation.
