The Surrender of Christ in John 18:1-14

On this Sunday, we confessed the Nicene Creed, sang historic hymns like “Holy, Holy, Holy” and “The Gloria Patri” as well as faithful new ones like Speak O Lord. We were also fed around the Lord’s Table. In our sermon passage, we considered the resolve of Christ to go to the cross as he surrendered to the Roman soldiers and Temple officers in John 18:1-14.
