Betrayal in John 13
John Chapter 13 is primarily known for Christ giving his church a new commandment to love one another. On each side the new commandment (13:31-35). On each side of the commandment, Jesus made a prophecy that 2 of his 12 disciples were about to betray him in the next few hours: Judas (13:21-30) and Peter (13:36-38). In this sermon we examine the two betrayals to see what they have in common and what makes them different. Understanding them will help us be reconciled with Christ after our own sins and betrayals. A video of the service is posted below, and the bulletin is posted here.
