On Palm Sunday, the children processed into the service waiving palm fronds as the congregation sang the 9th Century hymn, All Glory, Laud, and Honor. Our pastor preached from Luke 5:33-39 in which Jesus uses the Pharisees to show how hard it is for us to give up control and surrender to God the things (and people) that we cannot change. We also sang other Palm Sunday anthems to include: Rejoice the Lord is King!, and Great is the Lord Our God, which is the words of Psalm 48 set to the familiar tune as Crown Him With Many Crowns.
