A Picture of the Resurrection in Genesis 22

On Easter Sunday, 5 children of the church publicly professed faith in Christ and received their first Lord’s Supper. We had a brass ensemble assist the congregation in singing resurrection anthems like Christ the Lord Is Risen Today, Up From the Grace He Arose, and the Getty’s Christ is Risen, He is Risen Indeed. We also saw a picture of what Christ did for Christians when God provided a ram as a sacrifice to spare Isaac from being sacrificed in Genesis 22.
