Faith & Obedience in Genesis 6:9-22

Our pastor preached on Noah’s preparation for the flood. We considered Noah’s faithfulness as he labored to build the ark while bearing the knowledge that judgment was coming for his neighbors. We sang the hymn, Whate’er My God Ordains is Right, which was written in 1765 and updated with a new tune by Matter Merker in 2018. The hymn is a reminder and profession that our God is faithful during times of trial–especially the trials that we do not understand. The bulletin for the service is posted here.
