Finding Cause to Glory in Christ from Philippians 1:18-30

calendar_today March 14, 2022

Guest preacher, Austin Kettle, preached from Philippians 1:18b–30 on how getting a taste of the glory of Christ gives our lives the meaning and purpose we were created to experience. To mark this season of Lent, we sang Psalm 51, “Lord Be Merciful to Me,” which was King David’s psalm of lament over his sin. We also sang Be Thou My Vision, which was an 8th Century poem written in Gaelic until Mary Byrne translated into English in 1912 and set it to the Irish tune Slane. The bulletin is posted here, and a video of the service is below.
