Flourishing in Exile: Work as Worship in Genesis 30:25-31:21

Our pastor preached on Genesis 30:25–31:21, which shows how much God cares about our work. God’s Word sees work integrated with our worship as something He seeks to bless. Our hearts are tempted to disconnect Sunday morning from Monday morning, but all of Scripture starting in Genesis 1 and 2 teaches that God created Adam and Eve to work the garden and to cultivate this world in service to Him and with Him. Both our Old and New Testament passages will speak about this. We will also sing hymns about our work: Take My Life and Let It Be Consecrated Lord to Thee and Jesus, I My Cross Have Taken among other hymns. A video of the entire service is below, and the bulletin is posted here.
