God’s Caring Hand in 1 Peter 5:6-11

This sermon passage is a reminder to cast our anxieties on the Lord because His hand is powerful and He cares for us. If God were simply powerful and not caring, what good would it be to be his follower? If he were only caring but not powerful, what good would that be in a God? Our God is both. So God’s Word calls on us to cast our cares upon Him because He cares for us and He is powerful enough to work everything (even pandemics!) for our good and His glory. The video of the service is posted below and a link to the bulletin is posted here.
