Holding Fast: The Ordinance of Marriage in Genesis 1:26-2:25

Sunday, we considered the third of God’s creation ordinances in Genesis 1 and 2: the marriage ordinance. In marriage, God has provided husbands and wives with companionship that no one else in the world is able to provide. So we will consider the blessing of marriage. We will also consider the great grace God has when husbands and wives fall short of loving their spouse well. Christ is the only perfect bridegroom for His bride, the church, and one of the ways His love for us is manifested is in His forgiveness. The bulletin is posted here.
