“How Should I Be Praying?” The Parable of the Persistent Widow in Luke 18:1-8

Jesus uses the judge in this parable to show us how God is not a cold, unjust judge but a warm, loving Father who invites us to bring our prayers to Him. The parable is a great reminder for us who are living in the DC suburbs that we cannot control our world or our lives, but we can take our prayers to our Father who is powerful enough to answer them.
