Jesus is the Good Shepherd in John 10:1-11

Porter preached on one of the mountain top passages of the Gospels: John 10:1-11. There Jesus tells us that He is the Good Shepherd who leads his sheep through this world into His abundant pasture. On the theme of Christ our Shepherd, we sang Psalm 23 (the awesome Stuart Townend version). On the theme of the abundant pasture that Christ leads us into, we sang We Will Feast In the House of Zion after we were served the Lord’s Supper. Porter explained that the Lord’s Supper is a foretaste of that wedding feast that awaits us in the new heavens and the new earth.
