Promises, Plans, Prayers, and Providence in Genesis 24

During this worship service we consider Genesis 24 and the many faithful men and women who demonstrate a model of how to walk by faith and not by sight. In the passage we see four things: (1) Life is about looking at God’s word and his promises (2) Making plans that fit with His Words—being intentional on how to live by them—(3) Then praying for God’s providence to prevail over our plans, Then (4) returning in worship as we see His providence answer our prayers.
