Receiving & Giving Love in 1 Peter 4:7-11

Jesus said that his followers would be known by their love, and in this passage, the Apostle Peter is calling upon Christians in ancient Asia Minor (and the Holy Spirit is calling upon us) to love one another. As we try to build a new church in an American culture where people are easily offended and slow to forgive, the Gospel shapes us into a different community that should be known for love and forgiveness because “love covers a multitude of sins.”
