Sent Away in Genesis 4:1-16
Our pastor preached a second sermon on Cain and Abel from Genesis 4:1-16. We considered (1) Cain’s slide deeper into sin because he let sin rule over him and (2) the good news of Christ’s resurrection: that we may rule over our sinful temptations. We also considered the meaning of the Lord’s judgment upon Cain when He sends Cain away from his family to live in the Land of Nod. We sang several hymns to include one we sang for the first time: Jesus, Strong and Kind. The bulletin is posted here.
