Thanksgiving!

This Sunday was our worship service of thanksgiving. The Scriptures readings and hymns were chosen so that we could express thanksgiving to our Lord for His blessings and steadfast love. We sang Psalm 136, we sang Stuart Townend’s arrangement of Psalm 23 “The Lord’s My Shepherd,” and after we gathered around the Lord’s Table, we sang Sandra McCracken’s, “We Will Feast in the House of Zion.” Our guest preacher was Matthew DeLong, the campus pastor at George Mason University for RUF-International. He preached from Leviticus 19:33-34 on loving and welcoming the stranger who sojourns with us. The bulletin is posted here.
