The God Who Hears Us and Sees Us in Genesis 16
On this Sunday, our minister preached on the lives of Abraham and Sarah from Genesis 16 and their life of faith amidst great failure. In the passage, we sense the isolation and loneliness of Hagar, and the love of our Lord who hears her and sees her suffering when no one else does.
We also sang a diverse selection of hymns from the 3,000 year old words of Psalm 103 Come, My Soul, and Bless the Lord to the 6 year old hymn loved by many, Christ is Mine Forevermore.
We regret that the Facebook livestream failed during the service and there is no video available. The bulletin is posted here.
