The Gospel Goes Fishing in the Gospel of Mark 1:14-20, 35-39

One of the beautiful things about being a Christian and being Presbyterian is being connected to other churches that love and care for us. Dr. David Silvernail, pastor of Potomac Hills Presbyterian (PCA) in Leesburg, Virginia, is someone who has encouraged the planting of our church. And Potomac Hills is a church that has prayed for us. In addition to pastoring, Dr. Silvernail is a professor of preaching at Reformed Theological Seminary’s DC campus as well as a leader in our denomination as a former Chairman of the PCA’s Administrative Committee (where all the business gets done). And before all this, he was an infantry officer in the United States Army. Our Lord has made Dave a great preacher and a great friend. In this sermon, he encourages our church to pray and share the Gospel.
