The Joy and Peace of Christ in Us from John 16:16-33

The Second Sunday of Advent. Isaiah 9:6 prophesied that the messiah would be a Prince of Peace. On this Sunday, in our sermon passage, we considered what Jesus meant when he said “in me” Christians may find joy and peace in the midst of our troubles and tribulations. We also considered how, at His second coming, Christ will turn our sorrows into joy when everything is made new.
