What am I Wearing? Putting Off the Old Self & Putting on the New Self in Colossiand 3:1-17
What we wear often communicates our identity to ourselves and those around us. In Colossians 3:1-17, Paul uses the metaphor of clothing to teach the new Christians in Colossae to strip off their old self and its sinful ways and to put on their new self and Christ’s attributes that He would display in them.
